| Following the continuing success and popularity of the Farleigh House
Carriage Driving Trials the committee are pleased to say
that the event will run again in 2006. This year's event will
be under the Chairmanship of the well know National and
International competitor, John Pickford, ably supported by Angie.
As a direct result of the comments from the competitors, this year's marathon will be over three sections with 8 obstacles designed and built by Andrew Simmons. We are all indebted to The Earl of Portsmouth for hosting the event again, particularly after the rain at the 2000 and 2002 events when he passed comment that the lorry park looked similar to the Somme. The 2005 event was warm, sunny and dry - hopefully this will be the same for this years' event. We will keep you updated on this web site as the plans for the event develop.
